Who are the Ramblers Association
The Ramblers being Britain's largest walking charity with 108,000 members nationwide, take pride and responsibility for Britain's countryside and have defended it for best part of 75 years.
With the help of our members and volunteers we run 45,000 led walks every week, maintain the footpath network and campaign on behalf of all walkers. For details of Ramblers Britain's Walking Charity CLICK http://www.ramblers.org.uk/
Maesteg Ramblers were formed in May 2003, initially with the Bridgend Ramblers for its 1st six months, until our own officials were elected. Over the past year we have expanded from a few members to 20 plus with more people joining on a regular basis. We are a friendly mixed group aged from 20 to 70 who walk regularly every Wednesday and Sunday.
All are welcome to join us.
